Amber and Kristen's invitation and RSVP

It has been a whirlwind of a time for Amber, who originally contacted me for a wedding invitation for her June 2011 nuptials. Well, my dear Amber was lucky enough to win a contest to get married at 1:11 AM on 1/1/11 by writing a short essay about how they love their new Arizona community and wanting to "take the next steps in their lives together." Watch their video below!

So Amber and Kris' designs moved from a wedding invite to a reception invitation celebrating their marriage on January 1. It was so exciting to come up with this turquoise and pink gem for them:

With such great feedback, I adapted the design and Amber's RSVP, which are now available on the Custom Printables Zazzle site (invitation and RSVP). I am so thrilled for Amber and Kris and wish them all the best in luck and love! What a lovely New Year's present.

New menu on Zazzle

I am over the moon about this new offering on Zazzle! This menu is fully customizable between choice of colors for the text and the image itself! Zazzle's flexibility allows the user to select the background color for the image, which instantly transforms this menu to perfectly match the feeling and color scheme of your event! Here is my favorite color combination, also shown on the site.

Smitty and Lizzy's Save the Dates

After spotting my Pennsylvania destination wedding Save the Dates on Zazzle, Jason contacted me to see if I could do something similar for his Michigan wedding. I was excited for the challenge and could not be more pleased with the results! Soon to be posted on Zazzle and Etsy for personalization.

Lindsey and Jim's Wedding Program

I finally caved in and got the gorgeous Burgues font that I had been coveting for ages, and was able to use it on Lindsey and James' wedding programs, along with another favorite font, Justus. These will be printing on 8.5 x 5.5 card stock. Thanks so much, Lindsey!

Overpriced wedding monograms and logos

I don't usually take this space to complain, but after seeing a sponsored post on someone else's blog, I felt like I needed to say something.

Today my blog feed popped up a sponsored post on a wedding blog advertising a 10% off a $26 catalog wedding logo. Why would you pay anyone $24.95, $34.99, or good lord, $49.95 for a single monogram?!

Custom Printables has always been committed to offering high-quality, low-cost monograms that offer choice of colors, fonts, and file formats at no additional charge. Our custom monogram pricing only begins at $25. Your wedding costs are high enough already. Don't pay for overpriced design work. There are dozens of artists out there on Etsy, Zazzle, and beyond that offer the same beautiful work at a fraction of the cost.
