Noah's Save the Date

Noah's mom wanted a special car-themed Save the Date for his Bar Mitzvah, as his family is spread out across the country. I was so excited to design this special piece in honor of his big occasion!

Heather's wedding program cover

Heather's future mother-in-law Edith contacted me to design a custom image for the cover of their wedding programs and the wedding bentcher. The bentcher is a small booklet containing the important prayers and blessings for a Jewish wedding ceremony and meal. Mazel tov, Heather and Sam!

Mihoko and Assaf's Wedding Program

Mihoko requested a classic wedding program for her traditional Orthodox wedding. The program features elegant fonts and a simple decorative motif.

Danielle's Hebrew monograms

Danielle sent me a challenge to design her a monogram with Hebrew letters similar to the sample she found:

Well, I was certainly up for this one! I came up with three similar calligraphic designs to use for her wedding monograms with her new initials Dalet (which makes a D sound and is on the left side of the monogram), Yud (her husband's initial, which makes a Y sound, as in "you"), and Nun, the middle initial (an N sound).

Melanie and Gunner's programs

I worked closely with Melanie's mom Kathleen to create a kelly green and cornflower blue wedding program to match the theme colors of their May 21 wedding. You'll see the monogram is a recurring theme in my work (I used a similar version in my own wedding program on June 26). This Kentucky wedding was both fun and elegant!

Jackie and Jake's wedding program

Jackie and Jake are getting married in September. Jackie requested the popular four-page tea-length program that contains information about the symbols and rituals in the wedding. I think the selection of yellow and black is strikingly contemporary while emphasizing the black deco elements.

Jennifer and Doron's monogram

Jennifer was looking for a unique monogram to place on the front cover of the benchers that will be used at her wedding. Benchers are booklets containing the many Jewish blessings, prayers, and songs that are sung at a Jewish wedding. I was excited to use an existing monogram, Vanessa, and tailor it to Jennifer and Doron's wishes. Their new last initial, K, is flanked by the first initial of each of their Hebrew names. The shin, which is the first letter in Jennifer's Hebrew name Shaindl, is in the lower left, and the dalet, for Doron (which means "present, gift, or offering") is in the upper right.

Dana and Bobby's program

Dana requested a double-sided program highlighting the rich traditions of the Jewish ceremony. She'll be printing these out on fans and distributing them at the wedding.

Custom Jewish wedding program for Marissa

Marissa contacted me to order a custom-designed program for her wedding at the Angel Orensanz Foundation (could you imagine a more elegant venue?!). Her wedding will be a traditional Jewish ceremony, so we included some important information about the rituals and traditions that are included, especially the Seven Blessings that make a Jewish wedding official.
